This is one of my paintings -- Ski Lift -- that was for sale at Rust on N Main in Ste Genevieve -- a rustic artisan shop where my paintings, cards, and boxes pop up in the strangest places. I am now represented by Silver Sycamore Gallery, but stop into both places if you are ever in Ste Genevieve, Missouri.
About Janice Nabors Raiteri
I think in ink...in paintings that speak of subtle sensations, revealing themselves. In these distracted times, introspective art is essential. Ideally, my orgastracts entice the viewer to stop, linger, and search. For it is in the stillness of silent conversation that one absorbs the wonderful energy of this world, hears its harmony, and moves with its modulating rhythms. I am now working from my studio in downtown Ste. Genevieve, MO. It's a quiet, beautiful town that's great for a get-away destination (tours of original French and German homes, wineries, festivals, dining, hiking, boutique shopping) and is now a national historical park.
